Work with branches
Switch, create and delete branches.
Tap the branch chip (for example main) under the repository title to open the Branches sheet.
- Tap a local branch to switch to it. Switching keeps your working copy safe: files with uncommitted changes are not overwritten.
- Tap a remote branch to create a local copy and switch to it.
- New branch creates a branch from the current one and switches to it.
- Fetch updates the list from the server.
Delete a branch
Open the ⋯ menu of a branch (or long-press it):
- Delete branch… removes the local branch.
- Delete on remote… removes it on the server for everyone.
