A quick tour of GiCode
The main screens and where to find things.
GiCode has two tabs at the bottom: Repositories and Settings.
Repositories
- Tap + to add a repository from one of your accounts or from a URL.
- Tap the folder icon to manage groups that organise your repositories.
- Tap a repository to open it. The ⋯ button on a row (or a long press) opens its menu: fetch, pull, move to group, remove and more.
Inside a repository
Six tabs run across the top: Code, Changes, History, Actions (Pipelines on GitLab), PRs (MRs on GitLab) and Issues. The chips under the title show the current branch, the account in use, the unpushed commits and the latest CI status.
- Code – browse files, open the editor, add files and folders.
- Changes – review diffs, commit and push.
- History – all commits, also for a single file.
- Actions / PRs / Issues – what is happening on the server.
Settings
Your plan, accounts, commit identity, SSH key, language, and the legal pages live in Settings.
