Connect a GitHub or GitLab account
Add an account with a personal access token.
GiCode signs in to GitHub and GitLab with a personal access token. You create it on the website of your provider and paste it into the app. The token is stored in the iOS Keychain.
- Open Settings and tap Add account.
- Choose GitHub, GitLab, GitHub Enterprise or GitLab (self-hosted). For the last two, enter your server address.
- Tap Create a token on … to open the right page, or create one yourself (see Access tokens).
- Paste the token and tap Connect.
GiCode checks the token and shows your name as Connected. If the token is rejected later, the account shows Reconnect: open it and use Update token.
